Import/export permit handling

Import/export permit, with full name of independent import/export operation permit, is the qualification of import/export enterprises for import/export business. Enterprises planning to operate import/export business must gain approval of departments concerned such as Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Municipal/District Customs, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Foreign Exchange Administration, and Electronic Port, and get the right of import/export operation after passing approval and gaining corresponding certificate. Only enterprises owning import/export permit could carry on import/export business independently according to law.

I. Process of import/export license application

02◆ Register in the District Business Commission, and receive Registration Form for Foreign Trade Manager;

03◆ Handle Import and Export Commodity Consignee and Consigner Customs Declaration Registration Certificate in District/County Customs;

04◆Handle UKEY in the Electronic Port of China Custom;

05◆ Apply for registration of trade foreign exchange collection and payment enterprises directory in Administration of Foreign Exchanges;

06◆ Apply for import/export foreign exchange collection and payment opening procedures in Beijing Municipal Administration of Foreign Exchanges.
